History

Feng Shui's is part of ancient Chinese teachings originating in the Tang Dynasty. Founded by Yang Yun Sang, who authored many Feng Shui books which laid the fundamental guidelines for Feng Shui as we know it today.

Feng Shui had flourished and remained only within the walls of China. However Chaing Kai Shek’s defeat by the communist spread this philosophy first in Taiwan where Chaing Kai Shek left with many textbooks and Feng Shui followers. Once in Taiwan, Feng Shui soon spread and flourished in Asia.

In ancient China a city was planned in concentric rectangles surrounded by walls, lakes, hills, valleys, gardens, courtyards and parks. The Chinese ensured that both the natural and the manmade environment were planned to enhance positive energy. These were then landscaped according to the Taoist ideas of Yin and Yang, void and solid, water and hill.

Chinese believed that if we live in balance with the order of the world (Earth's winds and waters), we could attract fortune and prosperity.

In ancient China, people would act in accordance with this philosophy in the hope of attaining prosperity, good health and relationships. Feng Shui can be applied in the present scenario to help us:

  • In getting a job, raise or promotion;
  • In order to improve our health;
  • To get married
  • To ensure marital bliss and protect against a divorce
  • It can also ensure a harmony in family relationships
  • In order to gain profits in business.
  • To feel a sense of security in life against accidents or other unfortunate incidents.
