Vastu tips that can impact your life  

The essence of Vastu is the art of correct positioning and settings to yield maximum   benefits. The ancient teachings held that "positive" and "negative" forces were constantly interacting with each other and a construction should not get in the way or in any way disturb them.
A structure positioned according to Vastu ensures that there are more positive energies (forces) than the negative energies so the inmates can lead a more successful, healthy and harmonious life.

• Avoid placing a mirror on the south and west wall.
• The North-East or the center of the house are ideal for Bhoomi Pujan.
• The right side of the platform is ideal to place your cooking range.
• The south, west or the south-west direction should be used to place staircases, however wooden staircases can be placed anywhere.
• Stairs should always be in clock wise direction.
• Windows and doors in any office or residential area should be in even numbers for each floor, but not end in zero like 10, 20, 30.
• Ventilation plays a very important role in Vastu, good cross-ventilation therefore is necessary.
• Keep all the four sides of construction open, even is smaller constructions at least two sides should be kept open, keeping just one side open is bad as per vastu.
• Canals, lakes, rivers are best if they are in north or east of the house.
•  Posters or images of war scene, sexy scenes, angry or crying human, pigeon, crow, owl or eagle should be avoided as these are considered inauspicious.

Office

• The boss should sit in south-west facing east or north.
• The north east direction is best for the reception desk.
• North-west departments are ideal for marketing departments.
• Pantry should be in south-east or north-west.
• The accounts/cashier office should be in the north.
• Side tables and telephones should be in south-west corner.
• There should not be any obstacle in front of any door opening.
• Computers should face the south-east direction and placed on the right side.
• A picture or wall hanging depicting mountains is beneficial if placed behind your seat in the office.
